Piazza is a forum-like platform designed to facilitate higher-quality collaborative discussion. Piazza is integrated with Sakai, allowing faculty to manage discussions in a course site by posting prompts, answering questions, endorsing student responses, and editing posted content. Features such as a wiki-style format, the ability to highlight for an immediate reply, and polls help to promote collaboration.
