In a HyFlex (hybrid flexible) course, the instructor facilitates class activities for both on-campus on online students simultaneously. In addition to the standard classroom technology, classrooms for HyFlex courses are equipped with dual monitors at the instructor workstation, a camera facing the front of the room, microphones to capture the instructor and students, and speakers to hear online students. ITRS and OOL will be partnering to offer HyFlex training for faculty teaching on campus in Spring 2021. For more information and to register, please visit HyFlex Classrooms.
Proctortrack is an automated online remote proctoring tool that uses AI technology to detect and deter academic misconduct by verifying student identity and scanning student activity throughout an exam. Proctortrack aligns with the Sakai Tests & Quizzes and Gradebook tools, allowing faculty to create and customize proctoring settings for each assessment.
