LOCUS Upgrade Planned
Weekend of February 28 - March 1, 2020

A major LOCUS Upgrade (Fluid Navigation and PeopleTools 8.57) will impact all users as a scheduled downtime (proposed) will begin on Friday 5 pm, Feb 28, 2020 and ending Sunday evening or Monday morning, Mar 1 & 2. 

After the upgrade, students and faculty will not see any changes. However, staff members and faculty with administrative duties will see the new Fluid Navigation when using Campus Solutions PRD on the LOCUS Portal. Separate communications/training sessions are planned for all 1200 users of the “back office” Campus Solutions PRD. The benefits of this upgrade include:

  • The upgrade will keep us current with the latest functionality using a vendor-supported version of the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions product.

UPDATE: Fluid Navigation implementation has been deferred due to a significant bug discovered during testing. We are working with the vendor to resolve this. The upgrade of PeopleTools 8.57 will continue as planned. This means the 1200 users of the “back office” Campus Solutions PRD will continue to navigate LOCUS as they currently do with Enterprise Menu and “breadcrumbs”.
