LOCUS Upgrade Planned
Weekend of February 28 - March 1, 2020

A major LOCUS Upgrade (Fluid Navigation and PeopleTools 8.57) will impact all users as a scheduled downtime (proposed) will begin on Friday 5 pm, Feb 28, 2020 and ending Sunday evening or Monday morning, Mar 1 & 2.

After the upgrade, students and faculty will not see any changes. However, staff members and faculty with administrative duties will see the new Fluid Navigation when using Campus Solutions PRD on the LOCUS Portal. Separate communications/training sessions are planned for all 1200 users of the “back office” Campus Solutions PRD. The benefits of this upgrade include:

  • The upgrade will keep us current with the latest functionality using a vendor-supported version of the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions product.
  • New Fluid technology will allow for easier navigation of the system via homepages and tiles, with the ultimate goal of a mobile-friendly solution.

  • Students and Faculty will continue to use the portal to access LOCUS self-service
