What's New AY22-23

This page list news and updates including updates to service offerings, new equipment loan program equipment and policy updates, lab, software and printing updates, and campus-location updates.

Equipment Loan Program updates

Equipment Authorization process updated! Some equipment we offer has a hefty price tag if lost or damaged, or may have some more advanced features requiring training. In the past we would require clients to join a Sakai page to complete an online knowledge check/assessment. We have streamlined this process to complete a simple Microsoft Form submission online. Our video training resources still remain present on our pages. Visit the Equipment Authorizations page to learn more.

New and Refreshed Equipment available starting Fall 2022:

  • Audio Recorders: Zoom H5 counts expanded
  • Camcorders: Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K (authorization required)
  • Digital Cameras: Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless counts expanded
  • Digital Cameras: Nikon Zfc Mirrorless (authorization required)
  • Hard Drives: SanDisk 1TB G-Drive SSD
  • Lighting: Godox LED RGB Light Stick LC500R
  • Microphones: Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Lavalier Kit
